I wanted to learn how to take pictures without my setting being on Auto (the little green box)
I have had one class and am feeling a little overwhelmed.
But I think I got the rule of thirds down.

as for the rule of thirds (aka golden mean) you do have it down! Props to you for taking a photo class...watch out though, it gets addicting!
I am going to be in utah this summer and going to have a few weekends a month where a bunch of photographers and people just wanting to learn and bounce ideas off eachother will get together in a location and photograph to our hearts content. I've had a lot of emails asking if I mentor so I will be showing people some tricks that are easy with meterin, composition, etc. You should totally come...I always learn a ton when I do these things!

I cant believe how fast he is growing! I love my hair by the way, and Jake does too so thanks for the new look! So what kind of camera do you have? We are in the market for a new one.
